Here’s a look ahead at the games to watch for the week ahead in the BIG EAST, CAA, GLIAC, SAC and Landmark Conference:

BIG EAST: DePaul Vs. St. John’s

Decision Thursday looms as the final day of the BIG EAST’s regular season will be chock-full of postseason seeding implications. Perhaps no one is feeling the heat more than the Blue Demons, who currently sit seventh in the BIG EAST standings and need to finish in the top six to qualify for the conference tournament. How can they do it? By leapfrogging No. 6 Seton Hall (currently ahead by a point in the table), which faces an already-in UConn squad an hour earlier at 6 p.m. — something that could ramp up the tension even more if the result is favorable to DePaul.

Meanwhile, in the CAA, it’s already conference tournament time as the first round of the six-team bracket kicks off Thursday at higher-seed sites. In the 4-5 matchup to determine who earns the right to face top-seeded Towson on Sunday, the Tribe and the Huskies will do battle for the second time within a week after W&M utilized early offense to take its regular-season finale over Northeastern on Sunday 2-1. Can the Huskies exact revenge with their season on the line?

GLIAC: Saginaw Valley State Vs. Northern Michigan

The Wildcats have been absolutely flying through their regular season schedule and have earned their spot as the No. 14-ranked team in the most recent United Soccer Coaches national D-II women’s poll. NMU (11-1-3) has had just one blemish on its resume to date — a 1-0 defeat to the Cardinals on Sept. 24 in which SVSU scored a second-half goal and held on to pull off the upset. The rematch is a chance for the Wildcats, who haven’t conceded in four straight matches, to rectify that misstep with a statement victory.

SAC: Wingate Vs. Anderson

Anderson gave perfect (at 14-0 overall) and No. 2 ranked Catawba the game of its life this past weekend, with Catawba needing an 82nd-minute goal to squeak by with a 1-0 victory and keep its flawless regular season intact. Though the Trojans would’ve loved to have been the first team to deny Catawba a win this year, Anderson shouldn’t dwell on the past, especially with Wingate rolling as of late. The Bulldogs have outscored foes 9-0 in their past three matches, with junior defender Sascha Larsen notching three goals herself in the past two

Landmark: Lycoming Vs. Elizabethtown 

The top four of the Landmark Conference Women’s Soccer Championship (which begins next Tuesday) has been done and dusted for awhile, but the final two spots up for grabs in the field could be anyone’s guess as five different teams have a shot at taking the places. One game on the final day of the regular season between two of them is the one between the Warriors and Blue Jays (currently holding the Nos. 5 and 6 slots, respectively), and a variety of results could blow the door right open for the two other teams in the chase, Susquehanna (on seven conference points, tied with Lycoming) and Wilkes (on six conference points). Goucher (on four conference points) has an outside chance to qualify if it defeats Wilkes and gets help elsewher
